Philosophy

We believe that our congregation's mission includes assisting parents in the development of their children.  Our preschool offers young children a Christina setting in which the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth is nurtured.

Objectives

  • To teach simple Christian truths related to the child's experiences and level of development.
  • To encourage the child in self-confidence, concern for others, cooperation in work and play, and a spirit of sharing.
  • To increase the child's skills in listening, self-discipline, conversation, creative self-expression, independent work and independent play.
  • To help parents learn skills which promote the growth and development of the child.

Admissions/Registration

It is our policy to admit all children, three to five years of age who are toilet trained.  Registration for returning students begins February 1.  Beginning February 15, registration from church members will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  On March 1, registration will be open to the general public until a maximum total of 29 children have been enrolled.

St. Paul Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
